The Stanford Club of Hong Kong is pleased to invite GSB and SLS alumni to join leading academic scholars from The Stanford Health Policy Center for an evening reception to talk about “Global Health Policy and Challenges Facing China” on Thursday, January 7, 2016.

The speakers will provide an overview on the types of global health policy activities that are being conducted at Stanford and how this relates to future plans within the University. They will also describe a few projects relevant to China, while leaving some time for open questions and answers.

Speaker Profiles:
DR. DOUGLAS OWENS: Henry J. Kaiser, Jr. Professor, and Director of the Center for Health Policy (CHP) in the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies (FSI) and of the Center for Primary Care and Outcomes Research (PCOR) in the Department of Medicine and School of Medicine at Stanford.

DR. JEREMY GOLDHABER-FIEBERT: Assistant Professor of Medicine, a Core Faculty Member at the Centers for Health Policy/Primary Care and Outcomes Research, and a Faculty Affiliate of the Stanford Center on Longevity and Stanford Center for International Development.

DR. AHMED BAYOUMI: Scientist at the Centre for Research on Inner City Health at the Keenan Research Centre in the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute, St. Michael’s Hospital, a general internist and HIV physician at St. Michael’s Hospital.
