Dear Alumni and Friends of the Stanford GSB Chapter of Hong Kong,
We are honored to invite you to an exclusive, intimate dinner with one of the most distinguished minds in global economics, Nobel Laureate, and The Philip H. Knight Professor and Dean Emeritus Michael Spence on Wednesday, November 11, 2026.
Dean Spence, who led the GSB from 1990 to 1999, continues to be a thought and policy leader in economics. He is a world authority on growth in developing countries and on the convergence between advanced and developing economies. Today, he serves as a Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Co-Director of the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR), and Professor Emeritus of Economics at the NYU Stern School of Business.
Having last talked to our Chapter two years ago, Michael is returning to Hong Kong this November. We are incredibly privileged to host him once again for dinner, this time at The China Club.
Given the intimate nature of this private dining room, seats are strictly limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We highly encourage you to reserve your spot early.
Tickets will be sold on a first-come first-served basis.
We look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be an evening of great conversation, great food, and inspiring insights.
Warm regards,
The Stanford GSB Chapter of Hong Kong
